We now have two very cute female degus. My mum has named hers Mazie & I’ve named mine Honey. The only way we can tell them apart is Honey has a little white bit on the end of her tail & she’s alot more timid than Mazie but hopefully she will come out of her shell soon.

They both seem to really love the hay tunnel at the bottom, especially Honey. There’s lots of other toys that aren’t in the cage yet, as we’re going to change things around for them each week after we’ve cleaned them out. They will have fun investigating all the different toys, so they shouldn’t get bored.
Mazie has already started to chew the corners of the cardboard floors so we will probably need to change them each week aswell =/.
Well I think that’s all for now, I’m off to play with my new baby =D.
